Astro Nesting Box
Astro Nesting Box - built by Wildlife and Birdcare Nature Recovery Project CIC is one of our mini nesting boxes, it still provides you with our lovely chunky, rustic feel and it's excellent quality, but these mini boxes are a really good market price. Great value for money.
Astro has a removable panel at the back of the box for ease of cleaning. It is provided with two galvanised plates for easy fixing. Astro is designed by ‘Sammy The Autistic Wildlife Nut' Our CEO and Designer. We are based in Staffordshire and provide people with learning disabilities a supported employment placement programme, where young adults from SEN colleges come and help us make our boxes and at the same time we teach them many skills.
We don't stain our nesting boxes we leave it up to you to decide on your colour or stain, but you can choose one of our own Wildlife and Bird stains and paints, perfectly safe for all wildlife, birds and insects. This one is made from Larch, homegrown in UK forests, a natural water repellent wood that will weather over time.
