Terms and Conditions

Purchasing from wildlifeandbirdcare.co.uk

To purchase from Wildlife and Birdcare you must be over the age of 18.  We aim to delivery orders within 2-3 working days, however these times will extend during busy times, so do allow yourselves time for goods to reach for occasions and specific deadlines.  We will inform you of out of stock situations, but mostly we make to order and therefore some of our products take longer to make than others.  Delivery times for large orders or giant sized bug hotels will take longer, please check delivery times.  Tel: 01782 229129. 

When you submit your order you are agree to buy the goods at the prices and terms stated and you are allowing us to use your details provided at the point of purchase to complete your order.  We will only use the details supplied for payment and deliveries.  If you require your goods to be shipped to an alternative address to your order details, please make sure we are fully aware of these different delivery addresses. 

To delivery your goods we will need to pass your details onto our carrier service providers this will be in for form of:

  • Your Name, address and mobile number so the carrier can contact you with tracking detailed.  Most couriers these days offer an hourly update.  We have no control of the couriers once your goods have left our building, the only control we do have, is if you have chosen a two man service or door to door.  Pallet deliveries are always 2-3 day services.  Some postcodes carry additional charges from carriers. (You will need to check these). 
  • We are not obliged to supply any goods to you until full payment is received and you have confirmed the acceptance of your order.  You do not own the goods until full payment has been received. 
  • Please make sure all details are correct before submitting your order including your email address, postcode and payment details. 

If an error is discovered or we need to change the price of deliveries which are changing by the day currently with our couriers due to the increasing fuel costs, we will call you and inform you of these charges.   Please note that courier charges are not just priced on weight but also the size of your parcel.  Oversized parcels ie: anything in Height over 1.4M and anything in Width over 1M we are charged extra space by the couriers.  

We DO NOT STORE your credit/debit card details.  We offer secure payment methods using one of our secure payment providers.  

Delivery:

  • We will always use reasonable production schedules to meet your delivery deadlines, however it is out of our hands when something out of our control goes wrong, ie: supply issues or lost goods.  
  • We can never guarantee exact delivery dates, but will always contact you with any issues or delays we know are about. 
  • Awkward, Small or Stairs that may hinder delivery will need to be reported prior to shipping.  Failed deliveries due to this lack of information may incur additional delivery costs.  

You will be advised when your goods have been despatched and receive a tracking notice by email.  Our standard delivery times for mail order is 2/3 working days.  But for some products these delivery times will differ, we will let you know by emails the expectations.   For trade orders and multiple shipments we will provide delivery information and the type of service we will need to use. 

Liability:  

  • We will NOT be held liable for any losses resulting from unauthorised access or alteration of your transmissions or data provided beyond our control.  
  • We will NOT be responsible for loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data. 
  • We can make no promise to you that our website will never be uninterrupted or error free.  Please inform us of any difficulties you have experienced.

  • Any links on our website are out of our control and remain the responsibility of the owner.  We do not maintain these websites and therefore out of our control.  We provide these links for convenance only sharing a links to our trade customers, supporters or sponsors.  Those sites and its contents are not our responsibility.  

Security Policy:

wildlifeandbirdcare.co.uk takes privacy and security very seriously.  We do not SHARE information with third parties.  (Except for the following reasons).

  • To provide details of your delivery to our couriers, which will include your address and mobile number. 
  • Required to verify credit or debit card information by the card processor for authenticity reasons. 
  • If requested by Law or the Courts. 

Returns Policy:

All sales are final, you can however return good purchased within 28 days, we operate a 28 day no quibble returns policy.  However, we will not accept goods back if they have been used or assembled.  

  • Returns shipping costs incurred is the buyers responsibly, unless the goods have been received damaged, then we will cover the additional delivery and transportation costs.  
  • All damages need to be reported within 24 hours of receipt - we will need photographs of the damages, including the packaging.  After 24 hours damages will NOT be accepted. 
  • When an item is returned and checked for re-stocking we will refund you the purchase price only by the some means that you paid us.  
  • We will not be held responsible for any returns do not reach us, we always suggest using a trackable delivery service. 
  • All customers are responsible to return their items to us, unless your goods are damaged.  All items need to be returned in their original packaging. 

Cancellation Policy: 

If you wish to cancel an order before despatch we can do this as long as the goods have NOT been made specifically for a bespoke order, then a 100% cancellation terms apply.  We DO NOT accept cancellations on any bespoke items or orders.  

Nominative Shipping Addresses: 

  • If an order is shipped to a nominated shipping address are returned to us a ‘uncalled for’ or the address is incorrect, we can re-sent the order again, but you will be liable for paying he original postage costs again prior to the ordering be ‘shipped out again’. 
  • Stairs, Awkward Spaces and difficult delivery addresses, it is your responsibility to report any delivery difficulties our drivers may face.  If these are not reported before shipping you may be charged for refused deliveries. Please make sure you LET US KNOW before despatch. 

Your statutory rights are not affected.
